History
The origins of Interlude Press date back to May of 2013, when founding partner Annie Harper attended a Book Expo America (BEA) panel where an executive from a major publishing firm spoke about fan fiction as a tool for spotting "what readers want that we are not providing."
Months of research and development resulted in a company dedicated to publishing exceptional content, promoting talented authors of fan works to a broader audience, and developing a reader-author community modeled after the best of online fan culture. We have assembled a team of publishing, media and technology professionals to committed to making this happen.
Interlude Press is an award-winning publisher that places a premium on quality fiction. Since publishing our first novel in 2014, Interlude titles have received accolade from the trade press, including "Best of 2016" lists from both Publishers Weekly and Kirkus Reviews, and kudos from publications including Foreword Reviews, Library Journal, School Library Journal, RT Book Reviews and USA Today's HEA blog.
