History

Launched in 2004, Mirrorstone Books publishes fantasy fiction for young readers ages 6-16. Its first fantasy series Dragonlance: The New Adventures introduced young readers to the immensely popular fantasy world created by the New York Times bestselling authors Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.

Over the years, many more series have followed, including the New York Times bestselling Practical Guide series as well as the Dragon Codex series. The lavishly illustrated Practical Guides introduce young readers to a world of dragons, wizards, monsters, vampires, and faeries and offer a lifetime full of fantasy reading. The Dragon Codex companion series takes readers on tales of wonder and adventure with Dragons of various colors.

Mirrorstone also boasts popular adventure novels for young fantasy fans and readers new to the genre by famed New York Times bestselling author R.A. Salvatore and his son Geno Salvatore with The Stowaway, The Stone of Tymora Book 1, as well as the hilarious vampire novel by Kimberley Pauley, Sucks to Be Me: The All-True Confessions of Mina Hamilton, Teen Vampire (maybe).
