History
British publisher Bloomsbury Publishing Plc has twice won the prestigious "Publisher of the Year" award (1999, and 2000), but most readers know it as the home of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. The firm is named after the "Bloomsbury Group", a clique of authors who based themselves in the eponymous neighborhood in North London. The group included such well- known literary luminaries as Virginia Woolf and E.M. Forster.
Today, this distinguished publishing house continues to produce an excellent line of fiction and non-fiction titles, including Science Fiction and Fantasy.
