Random quote: "Swords, Lances, arrows, machine guns, and even high explosives have had far less power over the fates of nations than the typhus louse, the plague flea, and the yellow-fever mosquito. Civilizations have retreated from the plasmodium of malaria, and armies have crumbled into rabbles under the onslaught of cholera spirilla, or of dysentery and typhoid bacilli. Huge areas have been devastated by the trypanosome that travels on the wings of the tsetse fly, and generations have been harassed by the syphilis of a courtier. War and conquest and that herd existence which is an accompaniment of what we call civilization have merely set the stage for these more powerful agents of human tragedy." ― Hans Zinsser, Rats, Lice and History

Seeing some of the new additions being studies about SF, would a Non-fiction category be nice? One click could provide one with an overview of critical writing in the database...

As a sub-genre tag for instance...

Yeah, we need a good way to highlight the non-fiction stuff so people know it's there to begin with.  How about a non-fiction list?  That way you can see all the books that are available on the site on a single page and take advantage of the BookTrackr color coding. We have 109 non-fic books so far.  Perhaps seeing all of them at once will show where we have gaps too and folks will request more non-fic to fill those holes.  I'll add this to the list.  Looks like low-hanging fruit too. Thanks for the suggestion!

It would be nice to indicate this on the book's page as well as other information that we fill in when we add the book such as; novel, or collection or anthology etc.

I've noticed the new Book Type feature, and lots of non-fiction added recently. Is is possible to sort by type, or are you guys still working on that?
